NeSmith Series Director, Adam Stewart has a Cheshire's grin about the 21 Race Schedule on tap for the upcoming season and was readily available for comments when SGR Staff caught up to him and asked about the South Georgia dates.
"Our racing at Golden Isles Speedway was excellent for racer and fan alike in 2014. Darryl Courson always has a well prepared facility and the surface absolutely promotes side by side racing. I'm really excited that this venue will be hosting one of our Biggest Events on the calendar, a $10K To Win Show on Aug 21&22. Goes without saying being part of the two day ShowDown on Coast in October is a Huge Honour in itself. Last Year's Friday show boasted one of closest finishes in series history! Many of the fans stopped by to speak with series officials and comment on the competitiveness we brought throughout the weekend. Needless to say we are excited about all of the dates at Golden Isles Speedway."
"Proud to say we've Welcomed Waycross Motor Speedway into the NeSmith Family of tracks. Personally, I'm excited to introduce these great folks to our Fast and Fierce Dirt Track Action on April 10&11. I relish the opportunity to Showcase our Racers and Sponsors at new venues or ones that have been absent from the schedule for some time. We believe in our brand of racing and hold our heads high when we look toward the grand stands seeing that families came in droves to watch us put on a Show. Or simply speaking with a fan after the features have run and noting they've grown hoarse from cheering these stars on. We hope this event at Waycross turns into an annual pilgrimage."
